Excessive sweating, or Hyperhidrosis as it is referred to, is a common condition which affects both men and women, whether through sweaty hands, feet or armpits, sweating at night or just profuse sweating in general.
Hyperhidrosis is not temporary and can cause people a great deal of embarrassment, but the good news is that it can be treated with Botulinum toxin injections.
Although we mainly think of Botulinum toxin being used as a cosmetic treatment for wrinkles, it is a muscle relaxant that has been used by doctors in the UK for many years to treat profuse sweating, as well as other medical conditions.
